Fashioned Rice Pudding

Step 1: Cook the Rice
In a medium saucepan, bring milk and salt to a gentle boil over medium heat. Stir in Minute Rice
and reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring frequently, for 5–7 minutes or until the rice is tender
and the mixture begins to thicken.

Step 2: Sweeten and Flavor
Add sugar and stir until fully dissolved. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract. For extra
flavor, stir in cinnamon or raisins at this point.

Step 3: Cool and Serve
Let the rice pudding cool slightly before serving, or refrigerate to enjoy it chilled. Garnish with
a sprinkle of cinnamon or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

Serving and Storage:

Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the
refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, stirring
occasionally to maintain creaminess.

Tips:

    • Use whole milk for a creamier, richer texture.
    • Add a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom for a subtle spiced flavor.
    • For a lower-sugar version, reduce the sugar or use a natural sweetener.
