How to Make Colorful Mosaic Jelly: A Delightful Dessert Recipe

  • 3 different colored fruit jellies (e.g., strawberry, lemon, gooseberry)
  • 500 ml of boiling water for each jelly
  • 400 ml of 30% cream (or natural yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 2 tablespoons of gelatin

Preparing the Colored Jellies

Start by dissolving each jelly in 500 ml of boiling water. Stir thoroughly to ensure there are no lumps. Once dissolved, pour the mixture into shallow dishes and refrigerate until completely set, which typically takes about 2-3 hours.

While the jellies are setting, you can prepare the cream base. In a small saucepan, heat 100 ml of heavy cream and add 2 tablespoons of gelatin. Stir the mixture until the gelatin is fully dissolved, then set it aside to cool. Once cooled, combine it with the remaining heavy cream, mixing thoroughly until smooth.

Assembling the Mosaic Jelly

After the jelly cubes have set, cut them into small cubes and gently mix them in a large bowl. Transfer the jelly cubes to your chosen dish or mold. Carefully pour the prepared cream base over the jelly cubes, ensuring they are evenly distributed. Refrigerate the assembled dessert for at least 4 hours, or until it has completely set.
